Post Removed And A Nurse's Aid.

For those of you that got a brief glimpse of my last blog post before I removed it, it was removed at the request of the author.  Sorry about that!  The story represented by that post is still a problem within the medical community however.

Versed is being used as a hammer in hospitals, medical centers and even it seems in dental offices.  It DOES NOT MATTER whether you have an extreme reaction to it, list it as an allergy, wear a medical bracelet warning medical personnel not to use it, verbally decline this poison etc. the people pushing this drug are like those monkeys, See No Evil, Hear No Evil and Speak No Evil.  They will not hear you.  They will not admit that Versed can be very bad, in fact evil.  They cannot see that their little control drug is very bad for patients.  How professional is that?

Since I can't use the former post, I have found a new one.  TODAY, Nov. 11th (Veterans Day 2010) a story broke about a nurse's aid and his book.  Anybody seen it yet?  Author Phillip Greaves had a controversial book out over at Amazon.com entitled "The Pedophile's Guide to Love and Pleasure.  A Child-Lover's Code of Conduct."  This person was a nurse's aid and in home health care provider.  Does that scare you?  Did he also have access to Versed?  A lot of people do!  If you look at certain boards on the internet you can see just how many drug addicts, users and rapists have gotten their hands on vials of Versed for nefarious purposes...  This is a description I took from an article on cnn news usa;

"Greaves described himself as a former nurses' aid and in-home health care provider who is retired and on disability for "manic depression." He said he first began writing as a child and hopes to continue doing so full time."

Is this the type of person you want treating you?  There are zero protections in place to prevent people with "manic depression," "pedophilia" (denied by the author Phillip Greaves) or any other type of mental disease from having full and complete access to you, your children, your home and your mind.  There are no real safeguards in place to prevent people from stealing, pilfering, absconding with and otherwise getting their hands on a dangerous medication like Versed.  Versed would be a boon to pedophiles would it not?  And we, including our children, are getting it in hospitals with unscreened medical workers.  We are getting it no matter how hard we try to avoid it.  NO MATTER WHAT we are all getting this poison for the sole reason; convenience of the medical staff. 

Contact your legislators and let's get this drug removed from routine operations.  It's costly, unnecessary and can actually harm people and be used to harm people.  We pay CRNA's and such way more than enough money to expect them to be professional and capable of doing their job without Versed.
